My artistic journey is a reflection of my diverse life experiences and passions. As a self-taught artist, I have honed my craft through experimentation and a relentless pursuit of self-expression. My work has graced galleries across the UK, Europe, South America, and the US, earning a place in esteemed collections including the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.

I come from a traditional family in Ecuador. At 17, I left home to study economics at LSE, worked in finance in London, then quit within a year to pursue my childhood passion for art. At 55, the pandemic reignited another childhood passion: horses. I fell in love with a horse in Ecuador and have spent the past four and a half years studying and learning from the horse, training, and teaching my findings, splitting my time between Ecuador and New York, my home.

My life has been an adventure—beautiful, exciting, challenging, sometimes scary, and often blissful. Despite mistakes and hardships, I’ve always viewed my life as a magical journey and remained grateful. I’ve admired and learned from many people without wanting to be someone else, using their insights as inspiration rather than imitation.

My art serves as an extension of my way of life—a testament to my pursuit of living in harmony with the present moment. As an avid horseman, skydiver, motorcyclist, and yogi for over two decades, I draw inspiration from the beauty and unpredictability of life itself. Initially utilizing traditional photography techniques as a means to transcend conventional thought processes, I have seamlessly transitioned to pure painting, allowing for a more authentic and liberated form of expression. My art embodies a philosophy of letting go of control, embracing the now without fear or expectation, and allowing the resulting beauty to unfold organically.

My work reflects this approach: living life from the heart and recognizing a hidden hand guiding the journey.

Driven by a passion for pushing boundaries and challenging norms, I am committed to creating art that evokes emotion, sparks curiosity, and transcends conventional boundaries. With a profound appreciation for the interconnectedness of all things, I seek to inspire others to embrace the beauty of the present moment and find meaning in every brushstroke.
